WOLFSCHANZE

WOLFSCHANZE (Wolf's Lair), codename for Hitler's HQ situated near Rastenburg in East Prussia. It was used by Hitler and his High Command from June 1941 to November 1944 and was the scene of the attempted assassination of 20 July 1944 (see Schwarze Kapelle).
