Rudge, William Edwin

Rudge, William Edwin (1876–1931), New York printer and publisher, distinguished as a typographer and designer of beautiful books, was influential in translating the ideals of the private press into commercial bookmaking. Occasional collaborators included Goudy, Bruce Rogers, Frederic Warde, and Dwiggins.
