customizable graphical user interface A program which aids the process of adding an extra layer to an existing program or system in order to make it look different to the user: for example adding a new interface to an existing OPERATING SYSTEM so that it looks like another operating system. Sometimes referred to as a SKIN and often abbreviated to CGUI.
