anonymous remailer service

anonymous remailer service A service which acts as a mail intermediary. It allows users to send mail to a destination anonymously so that SPAMmers cannot discover an EMAIL ADDRESS and send unwanted EMAIL. Such a service is normally used for sending POSTINGS to NEWSGROUPS. Some INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS offer anonymous email services, as does DEJANEWS. There are also a number of WEB SITES which offer the service free.
