Internet statistics There are mounds of statistics about the Internet, all of them involving huge numbers. These include the number of Internet users, the number of INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS, the number of SERVERS, the number of DOMAINS registered, and so on. In a printed book such as this one it would be futile to quote numbers: this is best left to the WEB SITES containing up-to-date statistics. These should be consulted in preference to books and printed reports which tend to become out of date very quickly.
