Gopher link A link to a GOPHER site embedded into a WEB PAGE via a URL. When the text associated with the link is clicked in a BROWSER the user is taken to the Gopher site. Such links can often be found in FIRST-GENERATION WEB SITES, but with the rapid demise of Gopher services they are now something of a historical curiosity.
