Diffie Hellman key agreement A PROTOCOL that allows two parties to exchange a KEY for SYMMETRIC KEY ENCRYPTION without the key value being directly transmitted. This technique applies a mathematical process to the key in order to disguise it. See also PUBLIC KEY ENCRYPTION.
