ʿĪd al-Fiṭr

ʿĪd al-Fiṭr or al-ʿĪd al-ṣaghīr (the small feast). Feast of the breaking of the fast (of Ramaḍān), second in importance to ʿĪd al-Aḍḥā. It is celebrated on the first two or three days of Shawwāl, the month following Ramaḍān.
