There are many famous Hoosiers worthy of praise

Now that things have settled down since Johnny Depp and the film crew left Crown Point, it's time to look at some irritating issues left behind. I understand the excitement people experienced, since film crews and stars don't visit us very often, but I'm bothered by the limelight generated over the movie subject: John Dillinger.

If he's one of the most famous Hoosiers, then we're in trouble. Notoriety is one thing, but obsession quite another.
