The First Annual Collie Follies auction and dinner fundraising extravaganza planning sessions have begun.

A team of very dedicated people from Collie Rescue of Greater Illinois are planning this event that will take place in Darien at Carriage Greens Country Club in October.

The nonprofit organization was established in 1995 to provide shelter and care for pure-bred Collies that have been abandoned or turned over to shelters.

More than 600 Collies, ranging in age from 5 weeks to 12 years, have been placed in good homes through Collie Rescue since 1995. The Collies are placed in temporary foster ...
