He's a member of one of the oldest families in Lake Forest and undoubtedly has a good collection of its history, yet Frank Farwell can't wait to include the city's first feature-length documentary to that cache of memorabilia.

"I'd love to have one of these disks when it comes out," Farwell said of Lake Forest, Illinois: Past, Present & Future, which began filming in April.

Capturing live interviews of longtime residents -- an idea embraced by Richard Marra of Lake Forest -- is one that Farwell himself tried more than two decades ago.
