Grim tale is a lively operetta

Just about everyone knows the story of Snow White. Few know, however, there's an operetta version just waiting to be enjoyed. The one-act operetta, based on the Brothers Grimm tale, features music by George F. Root. It's coming to a local venue courtesy of Chicago Folks Operetta, which is the brainchild of Gerald Frantzen and Alison Kelly a music-loving couple who live in Oak Park.
