New Trier's homecoming starts centennial celebration

New Trier's homecoming festivities this Saturday will kick off a yearlong centennial celebration. Billed as a communitywide event, those planning homecoming hope that attendance extends beyond alumni.
This year's parade will step off at 11 a.m. from the Winnetka Village Green at Maple and Elm streets. New Trier sports teams, club members, Superintendent Hank Bangser and principal Wes Baumann plan to march with the floats.
