A Cook County elections board on Friday dismissed the objections filed against the nominating petitions of County Board candidate Michael S. Olszewski, who is Hanover Township clerk.
The board voted 3-0 Jan. 11 to overrule the objection filed by Joseph Kolodziej, a Schaumburg Township Alliance of Republicans precinct captain. Among Kolodziej's allegations were that some of the signatures on the petitions were forgeries and that petition circulators had round tabled the petitions.
