Fenwick star about to become marked man

In the very near future Fenwick junior Steve Marifjeren is going to be a marked man.

Fenwick soccer coach Matt Scharpf was surprised, but not disappointed, it didn't occur at the 14th annual Willowbrook Classic. Marifjeren scored five goals in the tournament, leading the Friars (4-0) to their first tournament title since 1998. He has nine goals on the season.

"We have a plan when that happens," Scharpf said about the anticipated defensive pressure on Marifjeren.
