Party dedicates Bannockburn's first open space

Nine years ago, in 1994, a Bannockburn homeowner named "Seawall" living adjacent to Village Hall offered to sell his property to the village.
That proposal set in motion a series of events that has culminated in the dedication this Sunday of Bannockburn's first and only "Open Space" -- known in any other community as a park.
