Kiryat Gat students visit Highland Park

Thirteen students from Kiryat Gat, Israel visited Highland Park City Hall and Edgewood Middle School on Tuesday as part of an informal Sister City exchange visit.

The visit is part of a year-long process aimed at establishing a full Sister City status between Kiryat Gat and Highland Park.

Kiryat Gat, also spelled Qiryat Gat, would become Highland Park's third Sister City relationship, joining Ferrara, Italy, launched in 1989, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in 2001.
