Five teens remained hospitalized Tuesday, a day after eating the hallucinogenic, potentially deadly seeds of a plant that grows wild throughout the area.
The five, all ages 15 or 16, started behaving erratically after ingesting jimson weed seeds Monday night in the Winfield Township home of two of the teens.
Tracey Swindle of Crown Point said she rushed to the house when e-mail messages her son was receiving from the group became bizarre.
