Ridding lawn of sedge is a tough nut to crack

Q: We have struggled year after year on this so-called nut sedge grass -- and have yet to find the right chemical or lawn product to get rid of this ungodly monster lurking deep in the soil of our lawns and many of our neighbors' lawns. Each year our lawn starts out beautifully, and by mid-June through late August or early September, this nut sedge grass controls our yards. It takes more and more of our lawns each year, and we have no help from our lawn people or from those who sell us lawn care products.

We also had our front yard redone in sod, thinking this would eliminate the nut sedge ...
