During two hours of testimony Thursday, Dr. Gary Shipley told jurors how he and his second wife, Gloria, were tormented by the behavior of his daughters Danielle and Amy and what measures the couple took to remedy the situation.
Prosecutors have argued that those measures - which they have called torturous - resulted in the death of 5-year-old Amy, who died Nov. 8 from dehydration, malnutrition and multiple bruises.
