Porter County Prosecutor James H. Douglas is seeking a delay in the murder trial of Perry S. Miller because test results that could provide key evidence will not be complete for two months. Miller, who faces the death penalty if convicted in the torture slaying of White Hen Pantry clerk Christel R. Helmchen, is scheduled to go on trial Feb. 26, based on a speedy trial request he made in December.
