Q: My neighbor told me that his beagle has mange. My dog was wrestling with it last week. Is he now at risk of catching mange, or worse yet, could I? A: A diagnosis of mange for the beagle next door is not specific enough to answer your questions because there are two different skin conditions in dogs, both referred to as mange.
