ST. CHARLES -- She still remembers standing alongside her mom, blowing dandelions in the wind.
Memories from 40 years ago came quickly to Lori Lewis, 45, shopping for a Mother's Day gift Friday at Charlestowne Mall, which was hosting its spring arts and crafts show.
"We have one-of-a-kind items from more than 50 artisans," an event spokesman said, adding that the show continues all-day today.
"Featured are stained-glass pieces, picture frames and great garden gifts -- all of it in keeping with Mother's Day."
