What: SEAGER PARK Where: Plank Road between Naper Boulevard and Columbia Street.

History: The park was originally called the Naperville Campgrounds and held outdoor religious services because "no building was large enough to hold the throngs of people." In 1845, the site was bought by Jacob Bucks and then by Jacob Brossman in 1865. The site at that time was renamed Brossman Woods.

In 1947, ownership of the camp was transferred from a small group of shareholders known as the Camp Meeting Association to the Illinois Conference of the Evangelical United Brethren Church.
