Airman 1st Class Adam W. Gideon, 24, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998, in Glendale, Ariz. He was born March 6, 1974, in Glen Ellyn to Robert W. and Cheri Gideon. A resident of Glen Ellyn and a 1992 graduate of Glenbard South High School, he was a member of the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Arizona.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Shelley; and his grandparents, Lynn and Elaine Vanderboegh and Dorothy Gideon.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Russell Gideon.

The funeral service took place on Dec. 6 at the Williams-Kampp Funeral Home in Wheaton.
