John L. Visby, 65, a 30-year resident of Bolingbrook, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, at home. He was born Feb. 19, 1935, in Richmond, Ind.

He had been a computer operator for Clipper Express for 37 years.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha (Winnick); three sons, Gregg, Scott (wife Gina) and Todd; a daughter, Kristin (husband Todd) Osgood; six grandchildren; two brothers, David (wife Sue) Visby and Lance Visby; a sister, Peggy (husband John) Howe; a brother-in-law, Donald Winnick; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services were private.
