George Douglas Hill, age 78 of Waukegan, Illinois died Tuesday, March 24, 1998 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, North Chicago, IL.
He was born February 22, 1920 to Mary Lee Bates Hill and Albert Hill in Hillsboro, Alabama.
He was baptized at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Hillsboro, AL., at an early age.
He joined the U.S. Army in 1941 and served his country until 1944. He was employed with the Police Department at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, North Chicago for 25 years.
He relocated to Wisconsin in 1953 and later to Waukegan.
He joined the Greater Faith Baptist Church in 1990.
