Waukegan Second Manville site session Aug. 1 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will hold a second hearing on the Johns Manville site to get more feedback from the public.

The session will begin at 7 p.m. Aug. 1 at the College of Lake County Lakeshore Campus, Genesee and Washington streets.

Federal officials will be present to provide an update on the status of cleanup activities at the site and provide further sources of information.

The EPA must provide an explanation for changes in the cleanup plan, prompted primarily from asbestos debris being found along the Lake Michigan ...
