BRITTANY TALKS A LITTLE BIT ABOUT VIOLENCE SHE WITNESSED AT DAY CARE

Herald-News (Joliet, IL) | June 27, 1999 | Copyright

Little Brittany Elaine Kinkin talks about it now and then in one-sentence thoughts. They pop out of the blue at times.

She's apparently thinking about what she saw that morning.

The child saw some of the violence that just suddenly popped out of the blue, too.

On the morning of April 22, Kristen Kinkin dropped off her two daughters, Brittany, 3 1/2 , and Jordann, 7 months old, at the day-care home on Kenilworth Avenue as usual.

It was raining that morning and she felt rushed to get to her job as a second-grade teacher.

Brittany had been staying there in day care for the past 2 1/2 years.
