Who said teen-agers are lazy? Most area high schools offer weight-lifting programs and many students take advantage of them.
And, those who don't either find their own means of fitness or join a health club.
Perhaps sports play a role in why teens put so much effort into staying fit, but even teens who aren't in sports find their way to the weight rooms.
It seems that feeling good about themselves is more important than being lazy.
