MISSION TRIP OPENS STUDENTS' EYES TO NEED, VALUES SUCRE, BOLIVIA: CSF VOLUNTEERS OFTEN GAIN MORE THAN THEY GIVE

Joliet -- Sister Dolores Zemont, head of Campus Ministry at the College of St. Francis, will accompany 20 students to Sucre, Bolivia at the end of May. The young missionaries will serve as evangelists to Spanish Indians living in the barrios, people considered "the poorest of the poor." Zemont, a Joliet Franciscan, said it will be the second trip to Sucre for four students.

Young adults involved in Campus Ministry have been making missionary trips to third world countries for six years, besides serving in poor neighborhoods of Joliet, Chicago and Appalachia.
