BOLINGBROOK -- There was little doubt about who was the best player on the basketball court Monday night when Joliet Township High School took on Morris in Bolingbrook Class AA Sectional semifinal play. When Tiffany Cornelius left the floor with 1:42 remaining, the outcome was no longer in doubt.

Joliet was in total command with a 52-37 lead.

Only the final score was in question.

The overall brilliance of Cornelius helped Joliet, the No. 5 seed, to a 57-40 victory over the No. 8 Redskins, who never led and owned just a 2-2 tie.
