EDEN -- Ministers say this upcoming week, often referred to as Holy Week, is the most sacred of the Christian year.

The week starts with Palm Sunday, the celebration of Jesus' triumphant ride into Jerusalem. Then comes Maundy Thursday, the anniversary of the first Holy Communion and Jesus' betrayal. Next is Good Friday, the commemoration of Jesus' death. The week ends with the most holy of Christian days, Easter, the celebration of Jesus' resurrection and triumph over death and the basis for the Christian religion.
