UK fund managers have called for the term "transaction costs" to be clarified, according to a new survey by research consultancy, ClientKnowledge.
The study, carried out on behalf of technology-based agency stockbroker ITG Europe, found that different fund managers have diverse interpretations of what transaction costs encompass, with many simply focusing on price and commission. Furthermore, those questioned said that there was a need for the measurement of transaction costs to be standardised.
