Dear Rid,

Everybody says it's a done deal, you skipping your senior year to go to the NBA and all. And, hey, it's not as if you asked for my opinion. But as one small tree in your forest of fans, allow me the 11th-hour privilege of falling across your trail.

Here are the top 10 reasons why you, Mr. Ridnour, might consider staying another year at Oregon:

1. Money can't buy you love. Yes, with a single signature, you're set for life. But will anybody stick with you like the folks around here?
