Third Grade Love 
 
   We went to the park; you pushed me off 
   the swing. 
   You smacked me in the face, and I did not 
   do a single thing. 
   The teacher gave us bubble gum; you put 
   it in my hair. 
   Then you got me in trouble, and you didn't 
   seem to care. 
   You pushed me into the boys' bathroom 
   and called everyone's attention. 
   You told the principal a lie and got me 
   a detention.
