WORLDWIDE The International Hotel & Restaurant Association's (IH&RA) 39th Annual Congress held in New York City last November served as the platform to review, decide on and announce important changes to the membership structure of the 55-year-old association. Following the General Assembly meeting, members voted to consolidate IH&RA membership to two categories: national hotel and restaurant associations, and international and national hotel and restaurant chains.
