Maryelizabeth Hart and her husband, Jeff Mariotte, run Mysterious Galaxy, an independent book store at 7051 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. in San Diego. A third co-owner, Terry Gilman, no longer lives locally, but still handles the accounting. The store will mark its 10th anniversary in May.
