PHILADELPHIA _ After days of suspense, Hugh Douglas' job search ended with stunning swiftness on Saturday.
The Pro Bowl defensive end signed a five-year, $27 million contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars _ less than 24 hours after a week of talks with the Eagles, the Seattle Seahawks and the Kansas City Chiefs failed to produce an agreement.
Douglas received a signing bonus of $6 million to go with salaries of $655,000 for 2003 and $3.445 million for 2004. He is scheduled to make $5 million in 2005, $5.5 million in 2006, and ...
