CNC Turning Center "Secondary" Offset techniques
Most turning center controls require a four digit "T" word to command a turret index. The first two digits command the tool station number and the second two digits command the offset number. In most cases, the programmer will make the offset number the same as the tool station number to keep things logical. For example, "T0101" would command an index to station number one and that offset number one be instated.
