2003 MAR 5 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Heska Corporation (NASDAQ:HSKA) and SafePath Laboratories LLC announced that SafePath has licensed worldwide rights to Heska's innovative diagnostic to identify animals with trichinosis.

Under a supply agreement, Heska will provide SafePath with the unique antigen that detects such infections.

Trichinosis is caused by Trichinella spiralis, a parasite that is transmitted to humans and other animals by eating undercooked meat. Infected pork is implicated in most outbreaks of human trichinosis. Current methods to ...
