With the sale of its European belt operation concluded, Carlisle Power Transmission Products Inc. has become more committed to its North American belt business and plans to become more aggressive in the marketplace.

The division of Carlisle Cos. Inc. doesn't figure the recent sale of the firm's European arm to Megadyne S.R.L. will have a negative impact on its business. In fact, Carlisle Power Transmission views the sale as an opportunity to expand its primary belting operation further.
