THE GRA have announced plans to make significant alterations to the Wimbledon track in time for this year's William Hill Derby, a project likely to cost pounds 70,000.
Principal work will comprise re-profiling and increasing the radius of the first two bends in addition to re-aligning the inner running rail at the 460-metre start. Swing-on hurdles will also be introduced.
