DAZZLING electric blue clouds on the edge of space could be a tell-tale sign of global warming, according to scientists.
The thin wispy glowing clouds, known as 'night shining', or noctilucent clouds (NLCs), have been seen from Earth and photographed by astronauts aboard the International Space Station.
Their first appearance in 1885 was thought to be linked to the powerful eruption of Krakatoa in Indonesia two years earlier.
