The Cincinnati Police Department has promoted six officers:

Promoted to lieutenant were:

* Anthony Carter, who graduated from Moeller High School and studied criminal justice at the University of Dayton.

He entered the Police Academy in 1989 and was assigned to District Four upon graduation. Carter has also worked in District Five, the Street Corner Unit, Narcotics Section, Personal Crimes Unit, Internal Investigations and Homicide Unit. His current assignment is administrative officer in District Four.
