The Lysander Lightning Pee Wee B hockey team defeated Pittsfield, Mass., 5-4 in double overtime Feb. 2 to win the Kittredge Tournament title.
The fast-paced game ended regulation in a 4-all draw. A five-minute overtime period failed to decide the contest. In a shoot-out between the teams' two starting lines, defenseman Brenden Boshart scored the only goal for Lysander and goalie Bobby Morris stopped all five opponents to conclude the match.
