Because of their explicit images of sex and decay, Eldon Garnet's large, multipanel photographic works have sometimes been dismissed as obscene or horrific. But the 10 pieces exhibited this fall at Christopher Cutts Gallery and the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art in Toronto, when considered together, suggest a far more disturbing, transfixative vision.
