Fortune Natural Resources Corporation (OTCBB:FPXA) today announced the initial exploration well at its Buttercup Prospect in Harris County began drilling on Jan. 29, 2003. The Buttercup Prospect is the fourth prospect to be drilled in the Company's Texas Onshore Exploration Program. The Company has a 7.5% working interest in this prospect which, as a result of previous farmout transactions, will be drilled almost cost free to the Company.
