BRISBANE, Dec 9 Asia Pulse - Boulder Steel Ltd (ASX:BGD) and European company, Breitenfeld Group, are banding together to develop a specialty steel group in the Hunter Valley.
The joint venture agreement will see the pair co-operate to establish a new state-of-the-art "boutique" steel mill in New South Wales, using Breitenfeld's operator skills.
Boulder director Carl Moser said the joint venture project - Hunter Specialty Steel - would produce long products including small diameter tubes to service the growing Australian and Pacific rim markets.
