Liotard portrait heads to LA; Arts in Brief.(Features)

A pastel portrait by the 18th century Swiss artist Jean-Etienne Liotard is being lent to the J Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles for a year from a collection in Warwickshire.
The portrait, believed to be of Lady Fawkener, was bought in autumn 2002 by Compton Verney, the art collection established by philanthropist Peter Moores at the 18th century mansion near Kineton.
